  • Parmesan Crisps with cheese grater

These Black Pepper Parmesan Crisps taste perfect with Domaine Carneros Estate Brut Cuvée, as the sharp bite from the peppered cheese counteracts with the delicate notes of fresh pear, green apple, and a touch of brioche on the palate, leading to a round mouthfeel and soft finish.

With only two ingredients, these crisps are an ideal movie snack to enjoy on the couch with your glass of wine in hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)

Instruction

1) Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

2) Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper.

3) Form Crisps: Spoon small mounds of the cheese mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with the back of the spoon to form thin circles.

4) Bake: Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the crisps are golden and bubbly. Keep a close eye to prevent overbrowning.

5) Cool: Remove from the oven and let the crisps cool on the baking sheet for a minute or two to firm up. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

6) Serve: Enjoy crisps with a glass of well-chilled Estate Brut.
