In 1987, after a decades-long search, the Taittinger Family of famed Champagne Taittinger selected Carneros, Napa Valley, as the ideal location to realize their dream of producing the finest sparkling wine in the United States. They brought the mastery and style of classical Champagne production to California, then built what became an iconic winery at the entrance to Napa Valley – a Chateau modeled on the Château de la Marquetterie in Reims, France, a Taittinger Family property designed to transport our guests to a place of stunning natural beauty and architectural opulence. Today, we are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to this legacy, Salon des Rêves.
Nestled beneath the grandeur of the Château, our stunning new Art Deco-inspired lounge immerses guests in a world of deep emerald green and shimmery gold with a design that emulates the effervescence of our finest wine, perfect for a memorable Napa Valley wine tasting experience.
This dreamlike space is the perfect venue for hosting our new Plat des Perles tasting, pairing three of our most beloved sparkling wines with fresh, briny Northern California oysters.Luxurious add-ons such as seasonal ceviche and sustainably sourced caviar are also available to reserve in advance for those looking to elevate their tasting. This indulgent experience starts at $80 ($64 for Château Society members). Reservations are required four days in advance.
