This cuvée’s unique blend of extra aging brings a layered creaminess and complexity to the senses while its low dosage makes it very crisp. On the nose the 2018 Jardin d’Hiver opens with aromas of lemon curd, apple, and toasted macadamia nuts. The palate highlights flavors of baked apple pie, dried apricot, ginger, guava, and poached pear. There is a refined elegance to this wine, which extends through a long lingering finish.
Our winemaker Zak recommends enjoying this wine over the holidays with baked brie, steamed shrimp, lemon-roasted chicken, or coconut cream pie.
