2020 Single Vineyard 'Crane Cuvée' Brut Rosé

SAVE THE DATE: LIMITED RELEASE AVAILABLE ON MARCH 8, 2025 - Eileen Crane established our Single Vineyard series with the 2014 vintage to showcase the diverse terroir of her beloved Carneros region by highlighting fruit from one of our six estate vineyards. Over the course of her 33-year career as Winemaker, President, and CEO of Domaine Carneros, Eileen spearheaded the acquisition of Carneros vineyards that met her exacting standards, growing an initial 137 acres into 400 acres of estate vineyards. This eponymous ‘Crane Cuvée’ - the last wine Eileen blended before retiring - is an homage to her vision, passion, leadership, and expertise. Fittingly, it was crafted from the first block of acreage purchased by the Taittinger family - the vines surrounding our Château.

Tasting Notes

This wine opens with bright fruit and delicate oral aromatics of Rainer cherry, peach, raspberry, and orange blossom. Intertwined with enchanting flavors of honeycomb, macadamia, and clay earth, the palate is vibrant and juicy. Even in its youth, our 2020 Single Vineyard Brut Rosé shows beautiful complexity mid-palate and depth from the soft delicate bubbles that finish with exquisite texture and persistence.

Our winemakers suggest pairing this remarkably versatile rosé with double or triple cream cheeses, grapefruit shallot salmon, or prosciutto tortellini cream sauce. It is a beautiful wine to open for a special occasion or to share Eileen’s legacy story with good company.
